The Four Basic Cost Components

 

1. Labor: You pay for the members of the moving crew, who “clock in” at the start of the load and “clock out” at the finish of the unload.

2. Truck: The cost of the truck is included in the labor charge.  Tolls are extra.

3. Travel Time: The charge for travel time compensates us for getting the truck and crew from our facility to the load location, and from the unload location back to the facility.  Typical charge equals one hour of the labor cost.

4. Materials: Our trucks are stocked with all the tools of our trade – dollies, hand truck, blankets, bubble wrap, shrink-wrap, straps, and tools – and are available for your use for free.  We can provide any additional packing materials your move may require at reasonable cost.

Before the Move

In our experience, nothing runs up moving costs like lack of appropriate preparation. The more foresight, the better! If you do not have time to prepare, let us know beforehand and we can assist with packing.

                                        During the Move

Upon arrival, we complete the packing and wrap and crate furniture as necessary, load the truck, and proceed to the new location.

After The Move

 

At the new location, we unload, unwrap, and position the furniture as directed.
